Painting Africa Safari itinerary:
1st Day
Arrival on South African soil at Oliver Thambo International Airport where you will be picked up and transferred to a luxury guest house in Johannesburg. Here we will wait for the other guests to arrive and you will meet the Founder of the international organization, The Wolf Army and wildlife painter, Vincent Kennard who will be your host and guide throughout the tour.
Day 2
Transfer from the guest house to the Safari Lodge where you will be booked into a luxury chalet.
Lunch will at the lodge's wonderful restaurant
Hereafter you can relax and rest before the evening game drive on an open vehicle that will take you to the best places for game viewing. So remember your cameras!
Then relax and watch the sun set over the South African bush while sipping the great local wine of the country before enjoying dinner at the a la carte restaurant, for the best food you can think of. Here you can taste the food of Africa or, if you're not that adventurous, you can eat what your heart desires from the menu.
Then relax and enjoy the company of your host and friends while the African night envelopes you.
Day 3,4,5,6
Starts with an early morning game drive. With luck you will see the remnants of the previous night's courtesey of the great African lion, or the elusive leopard. Watch the awesome and majestic African elephant and the cantankerous African buffalo drink.
Breakfast
Relax and social.
Paint with Vincent (all painting materials supplied), or just enjoy the sun at the sparkling pool or laze in the shade or even enjoy some of the local beer at the bar.
Lunch
Game drive
This time with luck we will encounter the mighty rhino, locked in a battle for survival the rhino is almost extinct in the rest of the world and in South Africa some still remain, like these ones, highly protected.
See the black back jackal shying through the thorny bush in search of morsels left over by the big cats and watch the stately Battaleur Eagle sentinel on a high dead branch of a Camel thorn tree.
Dinner
Relax and social. Vincent will be happy to answer all questions relating to South African wildlife, the politics of the country and the general history.
Watch the sun set before retiring for the comfort of your luxury chalet.
Day 7
Early morning Game Drive to spot that elusive leopard one more time.

Transfer to the luxury guest house in Johannesburg

Dinner
where you will stay for one night

before being transferred to Oliver Thambo International Airport.
Guests who wish to continue their stay or travel to other South African destinations from here are welcome to arrange with the Guest house to stay longer but that will be excluded and not included in the package.
